Reception Admissions
Reception 2027
You will need to apply for a place in Reception class if your child is born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023.
Applications are made online on the London Borough of Redbridge website via this link: https://www.redbridge.gov.uk/schools/primary-school-admissions/
Please list the schools you are applying for in order of preference.
The admission process opens on 1st September 2026. The deadline for online applications for all primary schools is 15th January 2027 at 11.59pm. All forms and supporting documentation must be with the Borough and our School by this date.
As Our Lady of Lourdes RC Primary School is an Academy School within The Good Shepherd Catholic Trust, the Governors require a Supplementary Information Form (SIF). The SIF is available to be downloaded from our website, and it must be returned to the school by 15th January 2027 along with the following supporting evidence:
- Your child’s birth certificate
- Parental proof of address
- Your child’s baptismal certificate (if applicable)
Please note that the ORIGINALS of the above must be brought to school for checking. We cannot accept photocopies or scans sent by email.
If you are another faith applicant, the relevant form can also be downloaded from our website. This must also be returned to the school.
Due to the new coordinated admission arrangements, families who live outside of Redbridge will need to apply through their home borough even if they want to come to Our Lady of Lourdes RC Primary School.
If you live outside the London Borough of Redbridge you should contact your own borough for advice. The Supplementary Information Form (SIF) or Other Faith Applicants Reference Form, along with the supporting evidence as above, will still need to be returned to our school by 15th January 2027.
